The Studio

"cocoa's is a memory — one we rebuilt on glass."

cocoa's is a memory — one we rebuilt on glass.

We grew up in a place where the local creamery had painted signs on a brick wall and glass bottles that clinked in wooden crates. The logo was blue. The script was green. The milk came cold and the mornings came slow. That creamery is gone now, but the feeling of it never left us. So we started cocoa's to bring it back — not as a place, but as a collection of things you use every day.

About cocoa's

Borosilicate glass, waffle ridge, recipe on glass

Glass that outlasts trends — borosilicate, rated from -20°C to 150°C, dishwasher-proof, impossible to wear out. We don't make seasonal collections. We make the cup you'll still be holding ten years from now.

cocoa's

cocoa's is not a factory brand. It is a studio brand — designed, packed, and shipped by a small team who believe that good glass deserves a small address. Every order that leaves Cedar Avenue has been touched by someone who knows what's in the box and why it matters.

FAQ

Can I use cocoa's glasses for hot coffee or boiling water? Will they shatter?

Yes. All cocoa's glasses are made from high borosilicate glass, which handles temperatures from -20°C to 150°C. You can pour boiling water directly into a cup that's been sitting in the freezer — the glass is designed for exactly that. Hot coffee, steaming tea, boiling water for instant noodles — go ahead.

Does the glass break easily?

Compared to regular glass, borosilicate is significantly more durable and thermally stable. That said, it's still glass — dropping it on a tile floor will break it, just like any glass. With normal daily use — washing, pouring, stacking — you'll be fine for years.

Are cocoa's glasses dishwasher and microwave safe?

Microwave safe — yes. All cocoa's glasses are microwave safe and contain no metal parts.

Dishwasher — we recommend hand-washing. While the borosilicate glass itself would survive the dishwasher, the vintage printed branding may wear faster with repeated high-heat dishwasher cycles. A quick rinse with warm soapy water and a soft sponge keeps everything looking fresh for years.

How does the cup feel in your hand?

The rim is smooth and rounded — comfortable to drink from. The Waffle Cup has a stepped ridge that your thumb naturally finds, so it won't slip even with wet hands. The Coffee Cup tapers slightly at the waist for an easy grip. The Dessert Bowl has a gentle flare at the rim — easy to hold from underneath or by the edge. Overall, these are glasses designed around how a human hand actually works.

Will the pattern fade or peel off?

Under normal use and regular washing with a soft sponge — no. The cocoa's logo, vintage script, and waffle recipe are printed directly into the glass, not applied as a sticker. Avoid steel wool or harsh abrasive scrubbers, which can scratch the surface over time. Treat it gently and the pattern stays.
